What’s your perfect breakfast?
Ideally an omlette from the Blue Plate Diner in Salt Lake City. The Utahn is especially good; smoked ham, bell peppers, havarati cheese, homefries and toast. Failing that, scrambled eggs, toast and lots of coffee.
Favourite sandwich filling?
Chicken, avocado, cheese and spinach on brown.
Favourite film, TV programme, book?
Too many favourite films, though Fight Club and Helvetica are perennial faves. I don’t own a TV, though I loved River (detective drama by the beeb on iPlayer last year). Favourite books would be ‘The Cover Art of Blue Note Records’, ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ and ‘Yorkshire Gritstone Bouldering, Volume 1’, of course…
Does Ole Gunnar Solskjaer count?
Marmite – love it or hate it?
Love the thought of it, like the smell of it, hate the taste of it.
Cats or Dogs?
Dogs. I love dogs.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I’m a guitar player and like most teenagers dreamt of making a living playing music. I got close doing a bit of session in my late twenties, though I’m very happy building websites now.
What would be your dream holiday?
So many places I’d love to go. Nepal, India and Thailand are high on my list. Cuba and Iceland too. Oh, and Patagonia…
