Sussex Oak & Restoration Materials was established in 2010 and is a specialist in the supply of high quality reclaimed materials and a wide range of oak, in all its forms. In late 2014, Tomango was commissioned by Sussex Oak CEO Jack Bicknell to create a new brand identity and website for this growing business.
Our creative team worked with Jack to identify the values that set Sussex Oak apart from its competitors, and compiled a detailed design brief before starting work on the concepts for the brand identity that would capture these qualities.

The concept brings together the different textures of the vast range of products Sussex Oak supply, whilst the typeface portrays a trustworthy and knowledgeable image, as set out in the design brief.
Jack admitted that the concept wasn’t what he’d been expecting, but he fell in love with it straight away and knew it was bang on brief and would position his business exactly where he wanted within his marketplace.
The strong brand identity is carried through to the business stationery and responsive website design and Jack is delighted with the end result.

In early 2016, we started working on an online marketing campaign, focusing initially on Search Engine Optimisation. Initial results are very positive.
